Project “European Union Reintegration Program” (EURP).
The program is designed for citizens of Uzbekistan returning from EU countries, as well as their family members, including:
• voluntary returnees
• forced returnees and deported persons
Return is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a new one.
Support during this period helps people restore stability, adapt to new conditions, and restart their lives with confidence and new opportunities for development.
The project is implemented nationwide:
• 12 regions
• Republic of Karakalpakstan
• Tashkent city
The project aims to Ensure high-quality post-arrival and post-return assistance to non-EU nationals returning to Uzbekistan, in line with fundamental rights and the best interests of the child.
Key areas include:
• provision of support at arrival and after return;
• facilitation of social and economic reintegration;
• participation in Joint Reintegration counselling missions (JRCM);
• engagement of country-of-origin specialists to improve the effectiveness of support.
October 2024 — April 2027
Since October 2024, the EU Reintegration Program (EURP) has been implemented in Uzbekistan. The program is carried out by our organization in partnership with the Women Empowerment Literacy and Development Organization (WELDO), with financial support of Frontex (European Border and Coast Guard Agency).
The project aims to support the sustainable reintegration of citizens of Uzbekistan returning from European Union countries and to facilitate their successful adaptation after return.
